Construction Update - July 13, 2009


We now have over 92,000 safe work hours!! Things continue to move along despite the summer heat and humidity. Here are some pictures of what is happening now---

Construction Update - June 25, 2009

Just some general pictures in this update. There is a lot of work happening with making spool pieces and putting piping in the pipe racks. Next week we will be setting the hydrogen compressor which was pictured in the June 19 update.

Construction Update - June 23, 2009

Last weekend the construction crew worked the night shift to beat the heat. Here are the foundations for the hydrogen compressor and cooler skid being poured. They started at 1 am and finished pouring before the sun came up.

Construction Update - June 19, 2009

It is officially sunny and hot in Geismar! Here are a few more pictures on what is happening.

Site Overviews

Here are a couple pictures of the overall site. The first one is looking southwest toward the raw material tanks. The building on the right will house the maintenance shop, plant offices, and control room. The second picture is looking northwest toward the finished product tanks and the LPG tank.
